Big West Festival is the leading community-based, contemporary arts festival in Melbourne’s West. A biennial festival, this 10 day extravaganza features cutting edge, multi-cultural and multi-artform works with, for and by the people of Melbourne’s inner west.
The 2013 festival is the ninth Big West Festival and is the culmination of two years of artistic development with local residents and communities in Melbourne’s western suburbs.
With more than 65 events, most of which are FREE, Big West Festival 2013 celebrates a strong local identity and resonates on a national scale.
You are invited to join this radical and spectacular celebration from 22 November to 1 December in the venues, cultural sites and suburban streets of the western suburbs. We look forward to seeing you there!
